Cash for the Church for very little effort! Shopping Online
Easyfundraising.org.uk is an online company which collects money from many online shopping companies for charities. If you, or members of your family, shop online (through Amazon, for example) and do so through Easyfundraising, a percentage will be given to our charity, St John’s Church.
For example: I have just bought pet insurance for my puppy and the company will give £12.50 to the Church. Others companies will give a percentage of the purchase price: Amazon, for instance, will give 2.5%.
To use this way of raising money for the church follow these steps:
1. Register with Easyfundrasing.org.uk
2. Register the charity you wish to support, "The Parochial Church Council of Glastonbury St John’s Church".
Then, each time you want to shop:
3. Log in at easyfundraising.org.uk.
4. Click on the name of the shopping source (e.g. Amazon) from the menu.
5. Carry out your normal shopping online.
6. It took me only 2 minutes more than going straight to the insurance website.
